CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
BOOTCAMPS | SIGN UP

A 45 minute cardio core blast that combines the cardio conditioning with the core conditioning of power Vinyasa, all performed in a heated environment and ending with meditation. Increases anaerobic and aerobic endurance, power, strength, agility, speed and stamina. This bootcamp includes martial arts, power Vinyasa, push-ups, lunges, squats and other calisthenic drills. Expected results when attending the Hot Yoga Boot camp is reduction in body fat, improved posture, weight loss, tighter abdominals, improvement in endurance, increase in strength and 100% gain in self confidence!

Summer camps outside at Okanagan beach, fall winter and spring camps are inside studio.


FLOW YOGA | VINYASA

A truly unique practice based on teacher’s intuition rather than tradition. Heals, detoxifies and exhilarates the body/mind with emphasis on movement, balance and intention. Each class creates a dynamic, honoring and/or challenging program that combines strength, flow and spirituality. Our flow classes are an intense practice that appeals to everyone form the working professional to the stay-athome mom. During class time and space all the worries of the day disappear and the focus is solely on flow, movement, balance and intention. ReFlexions honors the roots of yoga without imposing the preconceived spiritual practices of other programs. Our role is to guide students to make their practice their own and their intention personal. Each student is encouraged to embark on their own spiritual journey.

SLOW FLOW

SMOOTH and Flowing!  Therapeutically  strengthens the muscles with flexion and lengthens the body with stretching allowing the body to feel lean and “stretchy" (actual term used by student). Practice with a slow rhythm. we remove plank positions and is assessable to people taking care of shoulders!


SLOW FLOW Beginners FLOW

A blend of breath, movement and joy. Flow through a variety of standing, balancing, twisting, seated and passive inverted postures. Embrace a sense of balance, focus and increased flexibility. Feel refreshed, relaxed and in a state of pure yoga bliss.


YIN FLOW~DEEP STRETCH SERIES

This is a seriously great class for those looking for a yin(SLOW) practice. Passive assisted stretching from the practitioner. holding the poses longer and in a therapeutic manor.we schedule this for sports groups , if you wish to have a class of 6 or more give us a call.


YOGA SCUPLT |community centre

Total body workout toning and sculpting all major muscle groups. Free weights are used to intensify yoga postures, complementing your bootcamp or other training, pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights (literally)!


HOT  FLOW

Get your sweat on! Hot yoga captures the essence of the traditional hot yoga class and it’s 26 static postures and incorporates the flow and grace of hatha sequences commonly found in our FLOW yoga classes. Students will receive the benefits of a hot yoga class with further hip opening, upper body strengthening and core strengthening. This class appeals to both the traditional hot yoga and Vinyasa student or any one looking to deepen their yoga practice! The room is heated to approximately 90ºF to facilitate safe, deep stretching, a detoxifying sweat and a healthy glow. heated environment regularly for at least 6-12 months prior to becoming pregnant. CORE FLOW|OUR SIGNATURE CLASS

An eclectic blend of all styles of Yoga/Pilates in a fitness format. Fusing energy and movement of ReFlexions Flow classes with the core stabilizing and regenerative dynamics of Pilates. Attention is paid to building strength and endurance in the body’s core muscles which promotes body awareness, Protects the back and develops better posture. Excellent for strengthening, lengthening, and balancing our body. An incredible Flow and active style that provides variations and principles of  alignment to keep the body safe, while feeling challenged yet successful! Focusing on the core stabilizing muscles as well as additional muscle groups surrounding and assisting the midsection. Athletic, active and flowing sequences.This class appeals to every“body”. A fun energetic holistic approach to fitness.


EXTREME ABS | PILATES AB'S

This power half hour will unleash incredible core strength. Stott Pilates Ab’s Class. A straight up 30 minutes of focusing entirely on the midsection.  Abdominal synergy.


TECHNO YOGA | ROCKIN FLOW

Yoga Extreme! High energy aerobic fitness-fusion Yoga. Your booty (Buddhi) will never be the same!! Upbeat Techno ear candy to keep you moving! This class has combines our traditional Flow Yoga with plyometrics, cardio kick, weights, core synergy ,extreme Ab’s, meditation, devotion,pranayama and more….READY, SET , SWEAT...!! be playful, be challenged, be wild!


BELLY DANCING

Come have fun and release your inner goddess while connecting your mind and body through this ancient, sensuous form of oriental dance. Improve cardio, increase flexibility and strengthen muscles through isolating and coordinating your body’s movements. Reduce stress, gain grace, confidence and better posture while energizing yourself with this creative dance made specifically for women’s bodies. All ages and sizes welcome. Egyptian Belly dancing ~ Experience as we learn to stylize our dance with soft graceful co-ordinated moves and also work on our shimmies. More combinations, layering and travelling steps as well as introduction to veils and zills in this class.

Friday Mornings

A walking meditation along our Okanagan's most picturesque nature hikes, through vineyards overlooking Okanagan Lake. Yoga on the grass and a wine tasting at some of our premier vineyards! Meditation could be more sweet, their Devine! Space is limited per week to 20 people.$40 pp.includes yoga class , wine tasting and snack
